Is anyone using this? I have an idea of what this is, however not sure how it works on Americommerce. I am trying to get information on how it works, setting it up, and how it is working for those who are using it. I already checked the knowledge base and there is nothing on the subject. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Ed,

 How does a visitor know that you have an affiliate program? This is the part that I don't see anywhere. Where would it show up? How would they apply? I assume there has to be a link somewhere?

I'm surprised none of those other articles detail this but basically you need to create some content explaining your program and all of the ins and outs of it as they can be considerably different.  I suggest a content page linked right off your home page somewhere.  On this content page or similar you will want to link in the affiliate application, which is an AmeriCommerce generated form for them to fill out.  The link to this form is one of the named links in Site Explorer or you can link directly to it if you like.../store/affiliates/join/apply.aspx.  After that you will get a notification and can log in and approve them, and I saw this one pretty much took over from there:
